Lilian Nicolaas-Eleonora, Rfm, started her career more than 23 years ago as a junior auditor at KPMG.  She worked for over 10 years at Big 4 accounting firms KPMG and Deloitte in various team and managerial functions, culminating as Head Business Assurance and part of the Management Team by the age of 28.  After her years at KPMG and Deloitte she went on to become Financial Manager/Controller of a couple of privately owned businesses.  By the age of 37 she was the first female and professional under 40 to become part of the Management Team of the Santa Barbara Plantation Group of Companies (part of the SFT Group). The SBP Group was responsible for amongst other the development of the Hyatt Regency Curaçao and the Old Quarry Golf Course.

Her career has provided her with extensive experience with wholesale distribution, brand building and marketing, telecom, financial investment and real estate development.

Her extreme professionalism, high level of technical knowledge, excellent management and people skills and her ability to perform efficiently and effectively under pressure, has made her very sought after and has provided a few interesting highlights during the past years:

• Being responsible for several closings on local and international multi million dollar fundings, working with international and local lawyers, notaries, shareholders and bank management.
• Performing accounting software implementation for companies with millions in assets.
• Participating in a team performing a telecom technical revenue audit.
• Investigating a quarter of a million plus guilders accounting fraud, helping the company on the road to recovery by setting up and implementing proper AO/IC procedures to prevent something similar from happening again.
• Orchestrating a complete operational and financial turn-around for a freight forwarding company.
• Re-designing a new salary scale system for a union.

She loves keeping herself up to date in her field but the continuing education requirement attached to her registration as a Financial Manager makes it also mandatory in order for her to keep her title of Registered Financial Manager (Rfm).

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and the need for a vehicle to better give back to the community, has led her to incorporate LNE.
